For figure skaters who want to perform – in the Netherlands and worldwide

The Entertainment on Ice Academy is the place for figure skaters who want to grow as performers on the ice. Our Academy focuses on everything that makes show skating so unique: expression, storytelling, stage presence, and performance.
We help skaters elevate their performance skills and prepare for the global live entertainment industry of ice shows. Whether you’re a recreational skater, a former competitor, or any age — you are welcome here. 

Who is it for?

Our Performance Camps and Masterclasses are designed for:

  • Young talents who want to grow in expression and self-confidence
  • Competitive skaters who are curious if show skating is right for them
  • Recreational skaters who want to shine in a different way on the ice

     

No stage experience required — just motivation and a passion for performing!

Performance Camp

Every year, we organize the Performance Camp: een driedaags trainingsweekend waarin alles draait om optreden op het ijs. Je werkt aan solo’s, groepschoreo, showtricks en performance vaardigheden. De sfeer is motiverend, veilig en inspirerend – en we sluiten af met een showcase op het ijs waarbij je alles wat je hebt geleerd in praktijk brengt binnen een korte show.

Entertainment on Ice also offers performance training op locatie – wereldwijd.

💬 The mission behind the Academy

Founder Madelène van Beuzekom performed for years in large international shows, including Holiday on Ice. She knows how overwhelming the transition from competitive skating to performance can be — and that’s why she created the Academy:

“In my first year on tour, I realized how much I didn’t yet know about performing, theatre, and life on the road. I want to give young skaters a better preparation for that dream than I had.”

That mission became the foundation of the Academy: a place where skaters can grow, explore, and rediscover their love for skating in a whole new way — even after their competitive years. With the Entertainment on Ice Academy, we build a bridge between the competitive world of figure skating and the world of live entertainment.

Performance Camp

Entertainment on Ice organizes at least once a year a Performance Camp in the Netherlands. This is specifically for figure skaters who want to become better performers and learn specific skills to become a professional show skater, with the goal of auditioning for ice show productions worldwide.
The Performance Camp is a three-day boot camp packed with various workshops on and off the ice. These include performance skills to music, edge class, and show tricks, as well as theater, dance, and off-ice show tricks workshops. Want a Performance Camp at your ice rink? Get in touch with us!

Performance workshop

A Performance Workshop by Entertainment on Ice focuses entirely on performance skills. Skaters become better performers for ice shows, but it also benefits them if they are still competing. The workshop can take place in a group setting or individually. The workshops are taught by international ice show professionals with years of experience. A workshop can be booked per hour, and we are happy to tailor it to your needs. Get in touch!
